The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Tears of the Kingdom asks a simple question: what if we gave players a physics sandbox and trusted them completely? The Ultrahand ability alone generates more emergent gameplay than most titles manage in their entirety. The new Depths region adds a layer of genuine mystery and dread that contrasts beautifully with the sky islands above. Some will argue it leans too heavily on BOTW's foundation, but the new mechanics transform how you interact with every element of the world. A worthy successor to one of gaming's greatest.
