Ghost of Tsushima

Ghost of Tsushima is drop-dead gorgeous. The wind-guided navigation, the fields of pampas grass, the autumn forests — every frame could be a painting. Combat starts simple but the stance system adds real tactical depth as you progress. The standoff mechanic never gets old. The main story is compelling enough but it is the side tales, particularly the Mythic Tales, where the writing truly shines. Some open-world bloat holds it back from greatness, but this is a beautiful, respectful homage to samurai culture.
